Longarm Quilting at Compton Quilting Services

In August 2016 I joined Isabel and Don at Compton Quilting Services.

The Compton Quilting Team.

In August 2016 I joined Compton Quilting Services and began my longarm training.with their expertise and knowledge Isabel and Don taught me all the aspects of longarm quilting, from layering to finishing the quilt.

Childrens Quilts

12 block quilt with matching wall hanging and bunting

The wall hanging has been outlined around the design, the border has
wiggle quilting,  for the the backing and binding I chose a stripped flannel fabric.

I have kept this design simple with a machine quilting in a random thread.

Lavender heart made from scrap fabric and embellished with machine embroidery

Buttons and ribbons to add a personal touch.

Cushions

                                               Applique cushion with a button fastening.

This cushion has been embellished with machine quilting and a piped edge and button fastening.

Checkerboard patchwork with a button and giant ric rac fastening.
